When this car was first conceived it was reputed to be the world’s cheapest car. This four seater has a chubby look. The front profile of this car has the notable sweep down bonnet with a Chrome strip attached at the bottom to give it a premium look. The front bonnet has the company’s logo stamped right in the center. On both sides of this you will find clear lens diamond shaped headlamp cluster equipped with halogen lights and turn indicators. The front bumper is wide and house two cute looking fog lamp and a big air dam. The side profile of this car includes body coloured OVRMs, door handles and half wheel covers. From the back also this car looks good thanks to the presence of horizontal tail lamps and the TATA symbol on the back with a reflector embedded rear bumper.
The interior of Nano is tastefully done. The seats are comfortable, with enough leg and head room. The seat covers and door trims are done with Sporty Black fabric and Black Vinyl. The dashboard is made out of premium plastic and comes in Ebony Black colour. The steering wheel is a three spoke affair and the center fascia is Silver dust in colour. Engine and Suspension
The new CNG powered Tata Nano is powered by a 624 cc, 2-cylinderCNG motor attached to a 5-speed manual gearbox that can churn out a maximum power of 32.5 bhp and max torque of 45 Nm. For suspension, it boasts of McPherson strut with a gas filled dampers type of suspension attached to the front axle and an independent, semi trailing arm with coil spring & gas filled shock absorbers for the rear axle.
